2018 was a ROUGH year for me. One bright spark of joy was...the Queer Eye show on Netflix! I've been a Jonathan Van Ness fan FOREVER so I was ecstatic to see that he was cast on the show. I immediately fell in love with the entire Fab Five team. The show was truly a ray of hope, joy, and optimism in the midst of a very tough time. When I saw that they had a book...I flipped out! I don't think I've ever rushed over to Amazon so fast! The book is beautiful. I love reading a few pages every morning while drinking coffee. It inspires me to be kinder to myself and take better care of myself all day long. Bravo to everyone who helped produce this book! OK, now I need to go jade roller my face just like Jonathan instructs.
I got a copy of this book for myself and one as a housewarming gift for one of my friends. My friend loved it, it cheered her up as she has been going through a rough patch. Later, I finally got around to reading my own copy and was really disappointed with the content of the book. I wasn’t expecting anything life changing or particularly profound, but in flipping through the pages this book wasn’t super interesting to read through, and seemed like it was not much more than a hardcover magazine. There were a lot of pictures of the fab five and some pages here and there with blurbs covering really random topics. I love the show and love the guys because they’re so entertaining on TV, but I was expecting a more entertaining content to be included in this coffee table book. I’m glad my friend seemed to enjoy it, however,I donated my copy within a week of receiving it because I was so underwhelmed.
This has already been an incredible gift for my friends, coworkers, and family members who are big Queer Eye fans! I love seeing the Fab 5 expand into another medium. Can't recommend this enough!

I am a big fan of Queer Eye but the physical condition of the book I received did not meet my expectations. The book had water damage and was covered in black marks and small stains. The pages of the book are not well connected to the book spine and are loose when reading. The content of the book is wonderful (including some recipes from Antoni) but I am disappointed in the physical book quality.
I can’t sing enough praises for this book. It gives you the story’s of what makes all the fab 5 who they are, and then gives you advice that’s general enough that you can apply it to yourself as if you’re on the show. But specific enough that it kinda does feel like they’re actually just talking to you. This book is absolutely full of character and a must have for a fan of Queer Eye.
This book is full of love and joyous spirit! If you enjoy life and encouraging others to embrace their awesomeness then this book would make a great gift for anyone special in your life.
My daughter wanted this and was very pleased.
